Patrick Goes Home

Room 1s job was to g eat Patrick home but first he had to get the key from the bank.

Patrick had to turn right and get the key from the bank. He then turn left and go past the flag. Patrick walk straight ahead and walked around the tree. Lastly, Patrick turned right and headed towards his house. We had to make sure his footprints and arrows to show directions

Blowing Bubbles

Learning goal: We are learning to write a Recount.
Success Criteria: I know I can do this when I write an orientation, events in order, and  an ending.

Room 2 went outside to blow bubbles. The bubbles floated up in the sky. They looked shiny with rainbow colours. The bubbles were shiny in the sun.

Success criteria: We can do this when we can describe popcorn using our five senses.

Yesterday we made popcorn. It smelt like butter. It looked yellow and bumpy. It popped like fire crackers in the microwave. It tasted salty and buttery. It crunched in my mouth.

A Pet For Fly Guy

Learning GoalI am learning to write a narrative text.
Success criteria: I can do this when I have
  •  a Title
  • Beginning: Who is the story about?
  • Middle: describe the problem and the solution
  • End: What happened at the end?
Buzz had a fly pet. He named him Fly Guy. Fly Guy was sad. He didn't have a pet. 
Fly Guy want Buzz to be his pet. Buzz was the best pet in the world.
